Due to the fact that most of the students prefer lighter swords (at least in the rapiers), the new standard lightened blade (375 gr. compared to the previous 405 gr.) is incorporated in the rapiers that are mount this type of basic blade.

The process consists of lowering the 4 tables of the blade and thus achieving a more pronounced longitudinal rhomboid shape without affecting the quality of the steel or the optimum rigidity for practice.

Before, an extra price was charged for making this type of reduction to the blade.

Now it comes standard and at a better price. For only €25.00 more in the total price of the rapier with basic blade.
